Opportunity to be a Founding Member and start off the ground up foundation (and be part of the only national non-profit cancer research organization in Canada). – Work on collaborative inter-university and national events and activities with highly skilled students from the Department of Engineering at McGill, University de Montreal, UQAM (as well as UBC soon enough) as well as students from various Departments and Divisions at the University of Toronto. We are working on expanding our network even further! – Make a difference, create a purpose, and be part of an immensely meaningful cause that unfortunately affects almost every family across Canada and the world. Coda is a youth-led fundraising and philanthropic initiative that is in official collaboration with the Canadian Cancer Society’s mission to change the future of cancer. Our goal is to raise awareness for cancer among the youth across Canada by conducting a variety of engaging and informative events. As such, I would like to pursue this idea of starting CODA at the University of Toronto. I am looking for fellow enthusiastic peers interested in working with me on this project initiative regardless of your option major or interests as I believe that we have the potential to make a huge difference when we bring together talented people like you for this cause!
