🥄BSLS is a non-profit organization that provides free and accessible cooking classes for children with disabilities (“Lil Spoons”). Classes are facilitated by university students (“Big Spoons”) and led by Chef Anthony Go, a professional Chef on the autism spectrum. Each class begins with a lesson from Chef Anthony about the recipe of the week, after which Big Spoons are paired with Lil Spoons to cook together and hang out!
🗓️Our winter session will consist of 5 classes held virtually via Zoom. Classes will take place on Saturdays from 5-6pm starting on January 31st.
📣UofT students of any level of study (undergraduate or graduate) from any faculty/department are welcome to register as Big Spoons! Worried about not having access to a kitchen? Fear not! You can still support your Lil Spoon and have fun with them without cooking yourself!
