Relay for Life Team Captain UTM

Be a part of UTM’s Relay for Life, hosted by the Cancer Awareness Student Organization (CASO), in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society! This impactful event will take place on March 19 at the UTM Blind Duck, from 7 PM to 10 PM.

As a Participant, you’ll join others in walking laps to symbolize the ongoing fight against cancer. The event kicks off with an Opening Ceremony and an Honorary Survivors Lap, led by special guests. Throughout the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner, refreshments, photo booth, entertainment, performances, and speeches at Blind Duck, along with a Luminary Ceremony to honor those affected by cancer. You’ll also help fundraise through team-based efforts, with prizes awarded to the top teams.

If you sign up as a Team Captain, you’ll organize your team’s registration, plan fundraising activities, and ensure your team’s participation throughout the event. Your role includes motivating your team and tracking donations.

The $20 registration fee covers a donation, a T-shirt, meals, and access to all event activities. On the day of the event, prizes will be awarded to teams and individuals who have fundraised the most.

Join us to make a difference, celebrate survivors, and remember loved ones as we work together to fund cancer research and support programs. Register today and help us exceed our fundraising goal for a brighter future!
