Interested in mentoring high school students from across the GTA and learning about the data scientific research pipeline?

As a URL…you’ll:

• Serve as the mentor for a data science research project
• Lead a team of motivated high school students through a 10-week research project pipeline (Winter Semester)
• Facilitate increased scientific literacy in youth within your community
• Gain hands-on experience in data science, scientific communication, and leadership

Logistics:

• LOCATION: UofT St-George Campus
• WHEN: Program starts January (end) / February (start) – May 2024! (Weekly sessions + Symposiums)
• TIME COMMITMENT: 3-5 hours per week (2hr weekly sessions included)
• NO PREVIOUS STATS / DATA SCI / RESEARCH KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY!
  • Just an eagerness to learn alongside your students since they have interests in many fields and research is present in all!
