Focusing on Iranian culture and heritage, the Iranian Culture and Heritage Society wants to share Iranian traditions, celebrations, and history with the larger community in a fun and inclusive way. We want to provide a safe and inclusive space for students of the University of Toronto to become familiar with Iranian traditions, languages and food through hosting events on culturally significant days (Shab Yalda, Nowruz, etc.). We host cultural celebrations and fundraising for humanitarian groups (ex. UNICEF) as well as language-learning and Shahnameh-reading workshops.
