The Student Organization for Bioethical Debate at the University of Toronto is an undergraduate group that debates and discusses critical issues in biomedical ethics. The Student Organization for Bioethical Debate strives to foster a positive environment where members can debate topical issues in the discipline, meet like-minded individuals, and are comfortable in expressing their worldviews. By participating in these discussions, members are given the opportunity to defend their convictions with skillful argumentation. 

In addition to building confidence in argumentative debates, our group builds collaboration, perseverance, resilience and communication skills. The organization is committed to helping members sharpen their critical research methods in a structured academic context to defend the argument at hand.
