Agapē is a greek word, meaning unconditional and selfless love.
Our club recognizes peers who face barriers in finding friends on campus. We recognize that there are peers of ours on campus who struggle to find friends or carve out a social life because of their schedule, their long commutes, their social battery, and many other factors. Agapē aims to help our peers break those barriers and create meaningful connections on campus. The essence of Agapē is based around a statement that struck a chord with a few of our execs, heard at a student mental health committee — “If I could give every first year just one thing to help them make it through their undergraduate alive and well, it would be a friend”, and we hope to help our community make those friends.
