The European Student Union (EUSU) is an organization dedicated to bringing together European students at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Its primary purpose is to provide a welcoming space where European students—both international and domestic—can meet peers, build friendships, and feel supported during their time in Canada. The Club also seeks to connect students with upper-year peers who can offer guidance in navigating academic, social, and personal matters.
The first goal of the EUSU is to create a strong European community on campus. Beyond the university, the Club aims to foster connections with European communities and institutions across Canada, providing students with opportunities to reach out to cultural, political, diplomatic, and professional networks.
The Club will take into account the diverse interests of its members, helping them connect with others who share their passions and career goals. Activities will include hosting events, networking opportunities, and inviting guest speakers—such as representatives from European missions or consulates, alumni, or professionals from relevant fields.
Whenever possible, the Club will make its events and guest lectures accessible to the wider UTSC community, in support of inclusivity and collaboration on campus. Overall, the European Student Union serves as both a community and a resource: a place for European students to celebrate shared heritage and identity, to support one another, and to build lasting connections with European institutions and individuals across Canada.
