UTSC Game Development Club UTSC

Game development, is something people often want to do, yet challenging to start. From arts and coding to composing and designing, it’s hard to complete them as one person.

As the only game dev club in UTSC, our purpose is to bring students interested in learning any of the skills above together; more specifically, to discuss, cooperate, and support one another; to build their dream game.

The club will host weekly discussions for game ideas, for all genres out there, and we will group people with similar interests to work all together. On top of that, we will take advantage of Game Jams (A Hackathon for game development) under UTSC Game Dev Club’s name to demonstrate our skill globally to the world.

To further encourage students’ interest in game development. We will host seminars for game development (using Godot, Unity and Unreal Engine 5), composing, visual arts, and story telling.

Do you have a dream game in mind but too intimidated to work on it? This might be your chance
