The UTSC Crimson Dragons, Dragon Boat Club is a highly active, up-and-coming athletic club at UTSC. Over the past three years, the popularity and strength of the team have reached all time highs in the 2025-2026 season. This club competes in the sport of Dragon Boat in multiple provincial competitions against other universities in Canada throughout the summer. For the past two years, this club has seen increasing success in the competitive scene due to highly experienced coaches leading our members through all aspects of dragon boat. Our coaches each have over four years of dragon boat coaching experience at all skill levels, they have competed on the World stage for Team Canada, and are now here to make this team the best it could be. All skill levels are welcome to join!

Throughout the year, this club hosts frequent social events for members to have fun and bond over, and fundraisers to help subsidize team fees. This club trains in Pan Am over the Fall & Winter semesters, then competes in ~3-4 regattas in the summer from May to August.

So, whether you’re looking to try a new sport or already have experience competing in dragon boat, we would love to take you in and have you be part of the tight-knit, friendly dragon boat community here at UTSC. Come have fun, work hard, and make memories!
