Innocence Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying and exonerating individuals who have been wrongfully convicted of a crime. Since its establishment in 1993, the Innocence Canada Pro Bono team has helped exonerate 24 individuals who collectively spent more than 200 years in prison. Innocence Canada stands as a testimony to the true aspirations of any legal professional and has been kind enough to partner with MTC and PLO for the first Pre-Law Gala. Proceeds of the Gala will go to aid them in their ongoing journey to making justice more accessible in Canada.
