Do you like to sing (or beatbox)? Well you’re in luck — Surround Sound is auditioning for ALL VOCAL PARTS + VOCAL PERCUSSION to participate in our upcoming 2026-2027 season! All UofT Students, regardless of program, department, or level or study, are welcome to audition! These auditions are taking place on the 12th and 13th of September.

Surround Sound is an all-gendered, award-winning, competitive a cappella group based out of the Faculty of Music. Founded in 2015, Surround Sound performs a variety of styles within pop and R&B, both in competition and in concert. Most recently, Surround Sound placed 3rd in the 2024 International Championship of Collegiate a Cappella (ICCA) Central Quarterfinals and were 2023 ICCA Central Semifinalists. We pride ourselves on featuring hidden gems and original music that will leave you wanting more!
