We are the ALPHA Education University of Toronto Student Chapter. ALPHA stands for the Association for Learning and Preserving the History of World War II in Asia.

Our chapter supports the wider mission of ALPHA Education through education, research, and public engagement. We highlight histories that have shaped communities across Asia, and we bring attention to voices that are often absent in mainstream accounts of the war. Our work centers the lived experience of people who endured conflict, loss, and resistance.

We create programs that support critical study, thoughtful dialogue, and responsible remembrance. Through this mandate, we aim to build understanding across the campus community, and contribute to a broader commitment to human rights and historical awareness.
