Black In STEM at the University of Toronto Mississauga recognizes the unique challenges faced by Black students on their journey to success. With the motto “Community Over Competition,” our club is dedicated to supporting and empowering Black students pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). We provide a space for members to connect, collaborate, and grow through networking events, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on workshops.
Our mission is to create a supportive community where students have access to comprehensive academic resources and professional development opportunities. We strive to foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity, promotes excellence, and equips our members with the skills and confidence to thrive both academically and professionally.
