University of Toronto’s Black Psychology Student Association UTSC

At its core, the University of Toronto’s Black Psychology Student Association is dedicated to increasing the visibility of the field of psychology to Black students, who are currently pursuing psychology related careers or looking to find pathways into them. We recognize that pathways into the field of psychology are often obscured, and it is our mission to change that. At present the majority of psychological pedagogy is eurocentric and a central focus of the Black Psychology Association will be to highlight the work of Black researchers and interdisciplinary scholars doing work in the field of Black mental health and psychology.
