The Cross-Border Health Education Student Self-Advocacy and Support Network (CBN) is a student club that seeks to help international students connect and build supportive relationships with other domestic and international students within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education. CBN helps to organize social events for the purposes of socializing, sharing knowledge, and forming lasting friendships among students of different years and faculties. In essence, CBN works to address and dismantle unequal power dynamics between domestic and international students by encouraging an environment that values a diversity of cultures and worldviews while also challenging Western imperialism.
