Asian Arts Student Association (AASA) St George

Chinese Dance is an art form with thousands of years of history. It includes traditional Chinese dance and folk dance. Dance has been an important art form that expresses heritage, history, values, emotions, spirits, and many more.
Asian Arts Student Association (AASA) aims to bring together Eastern descent, cultural minorities, and anyone interested in Asian culture. AASA provides a supportive and inclusive environment for the UofT community and is dedicated to advocating and showcasing Eastern culture through dance and other art forms. We encourage members of any ethnicity, skill level, background, and age to join because AASA promises to provide unforgettable experiences.
Workshops and classes are offered weekly, and there are numerous performance opportunities. We are also dedicated to hosting and planning our events which gave much more freedom to all members of the club to showcase their skills, make their initiatives, and allow more audiences to appreciate the beauty of Eastern culture and dance. Last but not least, AASA puts happiness as the priority and wishes to provide the opportunity for everyone to connect and share their passion through this culture and art.
