Hillel’s mission is to enrich the experience of UofT’s Jewish and non-Jewish students so that they may enrich campus life, the Jewish community, and the world. Hillel UofT is dedicated to creating a pluralistic, welcoming and inclusive environment for Jewish and non-Jewish university students, where they are encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually and socially. Hillel UofT helps students find a balance in being part of the Jewish community and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), Jewish learning, Israel learning, the global Jewish community, and personal relationship with Judaism and the world.
