Founded in 2009, the Korean Outreach Volunteer Association (KOVA) is a Korean student volunteer organization at the University of Toronto St. George campus. KOVA is dedicated to serving the local community through a wide range of volunteer initiatives and community service efforts. The word “Outreach” reflects our mission to extend our impact beyond the university and contribute to society at large. Each year, KOVA donates its annual proceeds to the SickKids Foundation as part of our commitment to giving back and supporting those in need. This spirit of service is at the heart of everything we do. In addition to volunteering, KOVA fosters a strong local Korean community by organizing a variety of academic, social, and networking events. Through these initiatives, we aim to connect Korean students from diverse backgrounds and create meaningful experiences beyond academics.
