Kurdish association for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Toronto (Kurd-AI UofT) is a student-led association at the University of Toronto dedicated to celebrating Kurdish culture, history, and linguistic diversity. Our mission is to create a collaborative space for students, scholars, and enthusiasts interested in Kurdish studies, with a special focus on Kurdish Language Processing (KLP) and AI applications. Through cultural events, academic discussions, and research initiatives, Kurd-AI UofT aims to promote awareness of Kurdish heritage and support the development of Kurdish language resources in the digital age. We strive to foster inclusivity and understanding within the UofT community, offering a platform for meaningful engagement and appreciation of the richness of Kurdish culture and language.
