During the University’s winter break, student group leaders may apply for student group recognition, request edits to existing student groups, and submit and edit events and opportunities, but University staff will not be available to review applications and edit requests, nor to provide support, from Monday, December 23 until Monday, January 6. Best wishes for a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season!
The Latin Engineering Students’ Association (LESA) is a space for Latinx students to connect with the Skule Community and their heritage. The association educates people about Latin culture and promotes cultural issues. LESA organizes and hosts various fundraising and cultural events to support Latin interests. The club is open to all students who wish to meet other Latinx engineers in the community or learn more about Latinx culture. Moreover, the club provides a space for all students to participate in fundraisers and charity events supporting engineering-related causes. LESA is an environment for Spanish and Portuguese communication where student can speak their language freely. Our association also helps international students from Latin American countries in their transition to life in Canada.
