We’re the Middle Easter Student Society and we are made of a variety of students from different countries and cultures from all over the Middle East. We want to be an inclusive open loving space for middle eastern students who feel like they don’ belong anywhere and want a place to meet, connect and get to know students from their cultures and countries but also wanted to know about other cultures and traditions. I came up with the idea because I met so many middle eastern students on campus from both Frosh and just in person and I wanted to have a place for them to be together. I didn’t have that and I want it to be there for others to support and be a community of love and inclusivity regardless of ethnicity, culture, or religion.
