The group is based on providing an open, non-sectarian, non-political environment where students can interact with each other and the surrounding communities. The purpose of the UTSC Middle Eastern Students’ Organization is to represent Middle Eastern students on campus while establishing and promoting Middle Eastern cultural customs.

The Middle Eastern Students’ Association aims to create a community for those passionate about and/or interested in Middle Eastern culture, connect them with other students of similar backgrounds, values, and ethnicities, and promote intercultural mingling.
