The purpose of Namana Cinema is to promote and encourage critical thinking, film spectatorship, and scholarly work pertaining to cinema and strive to create opportunities for interested individuals to pursue filmmaking.

Namana will enhance the educational, recreational, social and cultural environment of the University of Toronto St. George by holding regular screening sessions to engage members to participate in discussions and expand their knowledge about filmmaking.
