SCOUT creates a positive space on campus for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Intersex, Pansexual, Questioning, 2-Spirited students, and other Queer identifying staff and faculty. The Lounge, located at BV 334/336, is a space where LGBTQ folks and their Allies can meet, hang out or study. We also provide health (sexual, mental, menstrual, etc) resources at the lounge. We create Queer visibility on campus by holding events and working with other campus groups as well as using posters, pamphlets and buttons. We strive to create a campus that is inclusive and welcoming to people of all genders and sexualities. We also have a volunteer network within SC:OUT, where students cant contribute and help executive members as per their own availability and pacing.
