The purpose of the Serbian Student Association UTM is to foster a sense of community among Serbian students and promote Serbian culture and cultural exchange on campus.This will allow Serbian students to connect with and explore their cultural roots and expose other students, faculty, and alums who wish to join the unique cultural traditions of this country in the Balkans.

We aim to achieve this through various events, seminars, workshops, and/or lectures encompassing Serbia’s unique culture, such as dance workshops of traditional Serbian circle dances, potluck events, and guest speakers on topics like Serbian faith and traditions. Furthermore, we plan to organize excursions to key locations of Serbian culture, including Serbian Churches in the Greater Toronto Area and local Serbian restaurants. Not to mention, the showcasing of Serbian cinema and sporting events. Lastly, we hope to organize cultural exchange events with other student-led groups.
