St. George Punjabi Student Association St George

Welcome to the St. George Punjabi Association (SGPA) at the University of Toronto! SGPA is a dynamic and inclusive student group focused on celebrating Punjabi culture, heritage, and values on campus. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where students of Punjabi descent, as well as those interested in learning about Punjabi culture, can connect, share, and grow.

SGPA aims to bring together a diverse community of students through a variety of cultural, social, and academic events. From vibrant cultural festivals and dance performances to insightful panel discussions and networking opportunities, our events are designed to celebrate the richness of Punjabi traditions and create lasting memories. We also engage in community service initiatives, helping to build a stronger connection between students and the broader community.

By joining SGPA, you’ll become part of a close-knit community where you can explore your cultural roots, make new friends, and develop leadership skills. Our members can expect to participate in events that not only celebrate Punjabi culture but also promote personal and professional growth. Whether you’re looking to perform in cultural shows, volunteer in community projects, or simply learn more about Punjabi traditions, SGPA offers a welcoming space for everyone.
