Studio Éclair Podcast (SEP) St George

Studio Éclair Podcast (SEP) shares knowledge and opinions on the field of architecture with students at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design and other public audiences. Our goal is to create a welcoming and diverse environment for anyone interested in discussing architecture and the various topics within, as well as sharing the information with the general audience. The spectrum of our audience will be vast, from high school students aspiring to enter architecture school to practitioners who are interested in learning more about our faculty.
The primary method of organizing and sharing this space is by managing a podcast. Each week, the executive team will prepare a theme for discussion and debate among participating members and guests. Up to six (6) individuals composed of club members and guests will be eligible to participate in each podcast recording session. A maximum of three (3) guests can be invited to participate in a single podcast session, and a maximum ratio of one (1) club member per guest is permitted. There is no limit to how often an executive or general member may participate in the podcasts. The duration of each podcast will range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the topic being addressed. The theme of our podcasts will cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, higher education, careers, technology, and personal stories. Once the session has been completed, the recording will be reviewed and edited by the Producer to be directly uploaded to our media accounts (Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
SEP aspires to connect the student body at the Daniels Faculty with other students and professors from different universities locally and globally. Valuable knowledge and information will be gained and shared by creating opportunities to collaborate between the Daniels Faculty and other universities and institutions. This aspiration will be achieved by contacting different schools and student bodies to collaborate on a podcast session. If the guests are available in person, SEP will arrange a location on campus to proceed with the session. If the guests are only available online, SEP will prepare an online meeting to invite participants to the call. These online sessions will also be recorded and shared across our platforms.
