The Monarch Project is a student-led organization dedicated to raising awareness, promoting education, and fostering advocacy for chronic illnesses. Each month, we focus on a different chronic illness, exploring its medical background while highlighting the lived experiences, challenges, and resilience of those affected by both visible and invisible conditions.
Members can expect opportunities to participate in educational events, awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and collaborations with healthcare professionals, professors, and community organizations. Through these experiences, we aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages empathy, meaningful conversations, and informed advocacy.
Whether you are living with a chronic illness, supporting someone who is, pursuing a healthcare career, or simply interested in learning more, The Monarch Project welcomes all students who are passionate about building a more accessible, compassionate, and informed community where every voice is seen, heard, and valued.
