Grappling is a combat sport that combines certain elements of wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the goal of submitting your opponent through various choke holds and joint locks. Grappling focuses on clinch and ground fighting to maintain control of your opponent, without the use of strikes. In a controlled, beginner-friendly environment you will learn the fundamentals including various takedowns, transitions between positions, and submissions. Each class will be led by one of our instructors and will involve an active warm-up, various techniques to drill, and time for sparring (aka “rolling” or “going live”).
