The University of Toronto Polo Club is a non-for-profit club dedicated to rendering the sport of polo accessible to all interested U of T undergraduates, with the final goal of sevā (Sanskrit for selfless service). U of T Polo’s duplexity lies in its aim to share the history & rules of the sport, as well as to offer members the chance to experience the sport of polo, view a tournament and/or horseback time if desired. A social and relaxed club, new members can expect camaraderie, regular brunch socials downtown, and social gatherings to amass funds to charities and club operation. Through the sport and entertainment of polo, we hope to provide certain aid to medical, social, and environmental challenges that impact our communities and concern the student body at large. Students from all backgrounds are highly encouraged to participate in the sport, inexperienced and experienced players alike.
