Charity Fashion Show (CFS) UTSC

Charity Fashion Show (CFS) organizes an annual fashion show at the end of the school year where students showcase their production talents, photography, make-up, hair styling, modelling and more. The Charity Fashion Show is filled with music, small local businesses, food and fashion, with entertainment paid for by sponsors. All proceeds earned from the annual Charity Fashion Show event will be donated to UTSC CFS’s chosen charity for that year.

Throughout the year, CFS hosts fashion-related socials, workshops (including ones for CFS models to refine their runway walks or embroidery classes), and volunteering events where students can get involved in the community and learn about CFS’s designated charity. CFS creates an annual Magazine where models and photographers will come together to visually represent stories written by UTSC Students about UTSC and local Scarborough talent and news.

The club allows students to understand what it’s like to break into the fashion industry in the GTA. CFS enables student creators to gain exposure and confidence in their work by showcasing it in the Charity Fashion Show while supporting a charitable cause.
