UofT St. George Hindu Yuva, where the latter ‘YUVA’ is a double entendre standing for “Youth” in the Indian native language, and “Youth for Unity, Virtue, and Action”(YUVA) in its comfortable acronym form, is what constitutes the core of this club. The mission of the Hindu YUVA is to bring together both Hindu and non-Hindu students alike to raise awareness about Hindu culture and to preserve our cultural and moral traditions. As one of the largest and oldest religions in the world, we believe it is necessary that there be an organisation on campus to represent the interests of the Hindu community present here. UofT St. George Hindu YUVA strives to bring hindu traditions, cultural activities, and more for the welfare of the students in a more appropriate and authentic manner.
