The purpose of the club is to provide opportunities to learn about Hindu heritage and culture, foster awareness of issues affecting Hindus, and provide SEVA (service) to the community. HSC’s purpose/mission is to promote Hinduism and educate people about Hindu culture, religion, spirituality, and way of life. Our executive team will try to achieve this by organising events that will inform people about Hindu food and culture to its gods.

HSC is a diverse community of students and young professionals. We provide fun and enriching opportunities to foster well-being and cultivate personal growth and empowerment based on values rooted in Hindu culture.

HSC will enhance the educational, recreational, social, or cultural environment of the University of Toronto Scarborough through integrity, respect, and collaboration.

HSC fundamentally serves a non-profit function within the University of Toronto Scarborough and will not engage in activities that are commercial in nature.

The HSC operates as an independent entity working within the University of Toronto Scarborough community subject to the values and policies of the University.
