Brown Citizen Circle (BCC) is a registered nonprofit organization established in April 2021. We are proud to be starting a University of Toronto Student Chapter and expand our organization. Our mission is to empower and mobilize South Asian youth in Canada, while also engaging with diverse, racialized communities to break down isolated efforts. We celebrate the capacity of South Asian youth and recognize the need to address detrimental systemic notions within the South Asian community. Standing in solidarity with Black and Indigenous communities, we aim to confront disproportionate marginalizations, creating opportunities to collectively unlearn, build networks, and collaborate alongside our allies.
