The purpose of Retro Gaming Student Club UTSC is to bring together individuals who share a passion for classic video games, focusing on games from the 80s to the early 2010s, while fostering community, preservation, and enjoyment of gaming nostalgia. RGSC@UTSC will provide a platform for students to learn about the history and evolution of gaming, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills through gameplay, fostering social connections and friendships among members, and contributing to the appreciation and preservation of gaming as an important cultural touchstone.
