The University of Toronto Engineering Iron Dragons is a co-ed dragon boat club, originating and representing the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. We provide students with a means to learn and compete in the sport of dragon boat, with recreational and competitive crews. Throughout the year, members will train in the gym and on the water in preparation for the summer racing season between May and August. This past summer, we competed at the 2023 Canadian Dragon Boat Championships, winning 2nd place for U24 Women and were the top performing Eastern Canada U24 mixed team. In the coming year, we have qualified to compete on the world stage and are preparing to go to Italy for Club Crew World Championships 2024. We welcome students of all disciplines and experience to join the Iron Dragons family, whether it is to stay fit, try a new sport, or make friends!
