The UTM Slavic Student Association (UTMSSA) is a social and cultural club dedicated to bringing together Slavic and non-Slavic students to build a strong sense of community, belonging, and connection on campus. Many Slavic students come to U of T seeking a familiar cultural space and supportive network, and UTMSSA aims to create that environment while welcoming anyone interested in learning about Slavic cultures, traditions, and languages.

Grounded in the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion, the club is open to all students who want to connect, make friends, and become more involved in campus life. UTMSSA provides opportunities for students to engage with one another through social gatherings, cultural events, language meetups, shared food experiences, and collaborations with other student organizations.

As a social-focused club, our goal is to make it easier for students to meet others, feel at home at U of T, and build lasting friendships while celebrating and sharing Slavic culture in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
