The purpose of the club is to have events with halal food, raise more awareness about halal food on campus, and get more halal vendors on the UTSC-approved external caterer list. As you can see on the UTSC catering website, there are not that many halal food vendors on it. We want this club to be a way to not only enjoy halal food as a group but also make it more accessible for other people to cater from halal food vendors to be inclusive of the large Muslim population at the UTSC campus.

Additionally, another aim of our group is to bring more affordable food options for groups on campus.
