UTMSU Salsa and Bachata (UTMSUSALBAC) UTM

The UTMSU Salsa and Bachata (UTMSUSALBAC) club is a vibrant and inclusive community at the University of Toronto Mississauga, dedicated to celebrating the rich culture and energy of Latin dance. While our primary focus is on the captivating rhythms of salsa and the sensual movements of bachata, we strive to offer a holistic dance experience by hosting workshops that explore a variety of other Latin dance styles, such as merengue, reggaeton, cumbia, and more. This allows members to immerse themselves in the diverse traditions of Latin America and develop a deeper appreciation for its dynamic cultural expressions.

UTMSUSALBAC is open to all members of the university, welcoming everyone regardless of their dance experience or skill level. Whether you’re a beginner excited to take your first steps or an experienced dancer looking to refine your technique, our club provides a supportive, fun, and engaging environment where everyone can thrive.

Through our workshops, socials, and cultural events, we aim to build a strong sense of community on campus. We believe dance is a powerful way to connect people, break barriers, and create lasting memories. Join UTMSUSALBAC to experience the joy of Latin dance, embrace new cultural experiences, and meet fellow students who share your passion for movement, music, and celebration!
